AUTOFLUG MULTIBASE arrives successfully on the market

Rellingen, June 2022 – With its sale of the first MULTIBASE systems to Spectrum Aeromed, AUTOFLUG has successfully entered the market with its crash-proof, modular pallet solution. Combined with the purchase of 4 pallets for use in C130, by an unnamed end customer, further equipment intended for use on the pallets was also procured. An essential component of the configurations being aimed at is the PTU developed by Spectrum Aeromed, an ideal complement to the potential of the MULTIBASE.

The pallet solution AUTOFLUG MULTIBASE is a modular concept for making cargo planes and helicopters ready for take-off more quickly. For this, the individual pallets are already completely equipped on the ground and thus only have to be brought into the cargo area once the plane has arrived. Whereas previously several days were needed to change the set-up on larger transport aircraft, putting the pallets in only takes a few hours at the most. Because the factor of time plays a central role, especially in critical missions such as e.g. in medevac deployments, the MULTIBASE system provides decisive advantages here. Furthermore, pallets can be prepared for different purposes, substantially increasing the multi-role capabilities of the aircraft used. At this year’s International Aerospace Exhibition (ILA) in Berlin, from 22 – 26 June, AUTOFLUG will be presenting the MULTIBASE solution in many configurations in a separate tent on the open-air area (Static S3-100), directly under the wing of the A400M. In addition, it will for the first time be possible to see a MULTIBASE in original size in many conceivable application-specific variants (Hall 4 – Booth 252) using AR glasses.

“Modularity and flexible configuration were the decisive criteria for our customer in choosing the MULTIBASE. For more than 30 years, Spectrum Aeromed has been developing ambulance equipment for aviation. We are very proud to have found a first-class partner in AUTOFLUG, who understand how to implement our individual customer requirements in the best possible way. Spectrum Aeromed is the proud first customer of an innovative family of products which is currently needed more than ever”, says Thomas Redder VP International Sales Spectrum Aeromed.

“With Spectrum Aeromed, we are happy to have gained a first customer who, like us, has an excellent knowledge of the market and together with us has found an optimal solution for their end customers”. Alexander Bode, SVP Marketing and Sales of AUTOFLUG also stated that further orders for the pallet solutions are expected within the year. He added that intensive talks were already being conducted with further potential users.
